Mychael Danna is an Academy Award-winning film composer recognized for his evocative blending of non-western traditions with orchestral and electronic music. He composed the transculturally inspired 2013 Oscar and Golden Globe-winning score for Ang Lee’s Life of Pi. Danna also composed scores for Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm, and Ride With the Devil. Other noted credits include Oscar-winning and Oscar-nominated films such as Atom Egoyan’s The Sweet Hereafter and Exotica, Deepa Mehta’s Water, Moneyball and Capote with director Bennett Miller, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus for Terry Gilliam, Monsoon Wedding for Mira Nair, The Breadwinner, Alias Grace, Little Miss Sunshine, (500) Days of Summer, Being Julia, Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur and Girl, Interrupted. He also won an Emmy Award for outstanding music composition for the mini-series World Without End. “The most gratifying filmmaking experiences are ones that take effort to unpeel the layers surrounding the heart of the story and to find the best musical expression of that heart,” says Danna. “Those are always the film scores I am most proud of.”

Cinemagoers were introduced to the unique sound of composer duo, Savage & Spies, through their bone-chilling score to the cult horror, The Human Centipede. Since then, the pair has scored a varied array of projects from around the world, most recently Rudolf Buitendachʼs Selling Isobel, a powerful, semi-biographical drama about sexual slavery, and the Indie Award winner at Raindance, 2016.

The Savage & Spies duo unites two contrasting musical minds - two leading European music-makers, from dramatically different backgrounds:

Patrick Savage - Australian/British composer, former Principal Violin in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and one of Europeʼs finest concert violinists

Holeg Spies – composer and producer, and one of Franceʼs pioneering names in electronic, indie music.

Collaborating on numerous scores for film, television and video games, they have forged a sound that is uniquely their own. As musicians, they have also contributed to many of the biggest blockbusters of the past 20 years.

Ivor Novello Winner and BAFTA nominated composer Natalie Holt has created dramatic original scores for feature films, television drama, and narrative-driven entertainment. Her latest projects include BBC’s powerful drama Three Girls (Dir: Philipa Lowthorpe) and the feature film Journey’s End (Dir: Saul Dibb).

She also composed rich, emotional scores for the BBC drama My Mother and Other Strangers, the final series of BBC1 hit drama Wallander starring Kenneth Branagh, and has written award winning music for the BBC’s Great Expectations,The Honourable Woman (Dir: Hugo Blick) and ITV’s Victoria with Martin Phipps. Holt’s music can also be heard alongside Hans Zimmer’s in the Weinstein company film Woman in Gold, and in the family smash hit from the producers of Harry Potter, Paddington.

Natalie trained in composing at the National Film and Television School after studying violin at the Royal Academy of Music. Her diverse repertoire ranges from epic scores recorded with 80-piece orchestras to intimate, small ensembles and hybrid electronic scores featuring an eclectic mix of live solo instruments. To create unique sounds for each project, she draws from her large collection of instruments. As a highly accomplished musician herself, who performed at the Olympic Closing Ceremony, Natalie personally performs on most of her scores.

Based in London, the heart of Europe’s post-production community, she regularly records with A-list orchestras at major studios including Abbey Road and Air Studios, and works with filmmakers in Los Angeles, London and with commercial clients worldwide.

In 2017, Natalie was given the prestigious accolade of being made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

As CEO/Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Extreme Music and Bleeding Fingers Music, Russell Emanuel is a trailblazing leader, innovator, and producer in the music industry. Bleeding Fingers is one of the leading producers of quality-crafted film and television scores in the world, bolstered by a unique creative association and business partnership with industry legend Hans Zimmer, and his long-term business partner Steve Kofsky.

Russell’s vision for Bleeding Fingers led to a thriving collaboration with Sir David Attenborough and BBC on the music for Planet Earth II – a score that contributed to the series’ record-breaking viewership, international acclaim, BAFTA and Emmy nominations and of course a Music+Sound Awards win, for Bleeding Fingers’ work. This paved the way to his most recent project - producing the score for the highly-anticipated BBC One natural history landmark, Blue Planet II, which premieres in the UK in 2017. Alongside his work producing the series’ orchestral score, Russell creatively produced a track for the prequel, titled “(ocean) bloom,” featuring a collaboration with Radiohead, one of the world’s most acclaimed rock bands, and Hans Zimmer.

Before creating Bleeding Fingers, Russell had already made a name for himself as a titan within the composing industry, thanks to the tremendous success of Extreme Music, which he co-founded in 1997. Extreme Music was conceived as a business that would provide quality and passion-driven production music from top tier talent.

Russell is not only an entrepreneur, but an experienced musician within his own right. For many years, he was a session musician, producer and manager, most notably managing The Jam and Stiff Little Fingers. He’s also collaborated with musical heavy-hitters such as George Martin, Snoop Dogg, Rodney Jerkins, and Quincy Jones, and spent an early stint of his career engineering at Abbey Road Studios.
